Looks the same as my buddy Rick's from back in the day, same colour, same top, same interior, same engine, `cept his was an auto. Brings back a few memories.

Yes, for a Chevrolet, that's a pretty sweet car, nice combo of powertrain, colour and options!!!

I was just thinking, how will this one stack up against the 396 4 speed 66 Grande Parisienne? Similar asking price, 4 speeds, Pontiac vs. Chevy.

But sadly, Pontiac market value is less.

In a way though, I kind of like that!

He works 2 minutes from my house. I see the car most days in good weather. Never stopped to look at it close. Didn`t know it was a 4 gear car

Hey Carl, I was reading on the KIJIJI feedback site about issues with Emails on  kijiji, a lot of folks are having issues apparently....sometimes replys go into junk or spam folders and sellers dont even see them.

Hmmmmm...I wonder if this explains the lack of interest in my 73 Lemans???biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I like to think so.

PS, they mentioned adding the KIJIJI email address to your list of contacts as that would make it safe.

Rob, go on your ad, and send yourself a reply? Try that and then check your inbox. Or make a new email and make a new ad/acct.....just a thought.

My account got hacked about 2 weeks ago on kijiji. I got an email saying my ad for my mercedez got taken off. I contacted kijiji and said ummmm I odnt even own a Mercedez. So I made a new password.

How hackers figure it out is beyond me....kinda scary.

maybe you could check, and see if ad was a scam, or if he really wants to sell it?    All I wanted to know was how rotten the body was...

I am working in Burlington Monday just down the street. I`ll see if it can be looked at.

Never works outside of Canada... Nice 67, interesting color, shifter looks weird

it looks like the shifter body is up in the console

Shifters I can fix    Rotten bodies I can't

Surprise    Owner got back to me   Renewed my faith in Kijiji and e-mails...

Rear quarters were replaced at some point before I purchased in 2008. Body in great shape, very straight, gaps excellent, no rust. Purchased in Florida, but not always a Florida car. Car was built in Janesville, Wisconsin, and was in Iowa. Not sure when it made it's way south. I believe I am the 3rd owner, but can't guarantee that. Frame and floor good.

Thanks for your interest.

From that description, I would go look at it....

I have someone interested in fixing up the beaumont...

If you are close I'd apprecitate a look   (of course with your addiction, it may be hard on you)
