OOOH a L-79 engine cool! Not all of the parts Carl.biggrin I personally won't build another OEM engine. All strokers from here on. Ricks 530 HP MMMM! Paul.

I agree with the crate motor (strokers)   Do you have any L79's now?

Sorry no. Still looking, but I want a beaumont one with the car attached and numbers match. The only difference between my 327 and a l-79 is the pistons, cam,  holley, and intake. Who can run 11 to 1 in todays world. Paul.

And don't forget to add larger valves in the heads.

My heads valves are larger than stock L-79 heads and they are ported. They are numbers and date correct but slightly tweeked. This motor would out perform a l-79 but it runs on pump gas. Still fun with a light car but these strokers are amazing. Paul.

Sorry, I thought you just were referring to what you needed to do to bring your engine up to L79 spec. I didn't realized you were long past that.

It looks dead stock and the numbers match but it's a little more spunky. Paul.

Looks like a decent car, rare color. It's nice to see a 67 Impala SS with the rocker moldings still on it, doesn't look right with out them.

maybe you could check, and see if ad was a scam, or if he really wants to sell it?    All I wanted to know was how rotten the body was...

she looks just as good as the pictures. All the paper work and POP too. He drove it home from Florida and has been to many a show with not an once of problems. Being a factory 4 speed car is a sale to me. There is a lot people here that know the cost of body work to get a car as strait as this. This car would be well bought for the asking price. Love the colour. Would love to have taken it for a rip but I`m not the guy buying it so thats not my place.
