Saw this Ad on Kijiji tonight, trying to get my friend to go view the car however at this price the car should have sold over the phone.

Not a SD but it is a very rusted stripped custom convertible. I have seen it in person. I have no idea why he's listing it as a SD. Paul.

I don't know about any car selling over the phone... it needs to be seen... there is a 67 Beaumont Custom convertible for sale here in winnipeg, an unfinished project with all new sheet metal, new floors installed, detailed frame, new top, needs finishing and assembly for $6000 and it's not flying out the door...

I think you mean 1966 andrew.  ya i saw that one too, its been for sale for a bit.  Questionable on whether or not everything will fit tho.  It depends on how good all the sheetmetal was lined up.   Convertible are a nightmare for panel gaps and fit.

It could be a steal if the metal work is professional,  otherwise its a big hunk  of scrap.

That picture of the car is pretty overexposed and blurry, but it sure looks like 67 fenders on the car... I guess it doesn't really matter, I was using it as a point of reference price wise....

Gee, you are correct andrew, it is a 67,  i thought i knew the car and that it was a 66,  but i guess it is a different one.
