Accelerator pedal removal

Terrific, thanks! I was heading down that road but with my luck I didn't want to break the thing. I'll get some pics up when I get the carpet and seat back in. It's a 4 door hardtop, blue on blue, 327 with Powerglide. M

Sorry if this has been covered. I searched but didn't find anything. I'm changing the carpets on a 68 Grand Parisienne and am a little embarrassed to say I can't figure out how to remove the gas pedal. There are two pins in the floor it's attached to but I don't see any screws or clips to undo? Thanks in advance. Mike

Thank you, Lefty. That's it exactly. I'll just pull harder!

Yes, you'll see the plastic "sockets" on back of the pedal.

i recall someone was looking for the stainless trim for the gas pedal.

I salvaged a gas pedal with stainless from my purging cycle.

If it has any value to someone let me know.

The rubber floor mounting points are garbage.  Just good trim.
