I still have pictures from when that car was on e-Bay back in April 2001. At that time it had a "Jenkins Competition" license plate on the front. Aztec Bronze was not normally offered on the base cars but that one was ordered with it supposedly. Radio block-off & C48 Heater Delete, plus a correct vintage Chevrolet kneeknocker tach. What a power to weight ratio that car must have. Those 6.95-14 tires are useless for hooking though.

Edit: It looks like a radio was added. Also it has California emissions on it. Another thing, it has resonators. Nobody puts those on, but they are correct. A very impressive car. We shall see where the bidding goes.

Besides the one picture I posted above, here are the rest that I gleaned from the e-Bay auction 11 years ago: (and you were right, the car was in Arizona. I got confused because I remember from Arizona a Regal Red with red interior Chevy II 100 2-door post with L-79 that had heater delete, radio block-off, tinted glass, V01 h.d. radiator, 3,73:1 12-bolt Positraction, L-79 & M-21 close ratio 4-speed)

with 8000 miles    was it a race car?   and recently restored?

I wish some of you members, could have experienced the old muscle cars with original tires biggrin

I remember when my buddy bought F60-15 Goodyears and we drooled over how big they were!! I sold General rwl tires in the 70's  I sold BFG fabric radials in 1970    amazing

I'm temped to install some P215/75R-15 on extra rims, and try them out on 455 Lemans

Another friend (a big guy) ordered a 67 GTX 440-375 HT

came with 775-14 skinnies  He could pull that Inland shifter into high at 100 mph and squake the tires  nono

If they were 4 ply nylon Mickey Thompsons,  I had a customer with a 289 2bbl Mustang that could burn them down..  lol

I think the L/79 car you are referring to was a Arizona car Cameron. It was radio, heater and lighter delete. The Acadian version is quite nice and definitley more rare.
