Fuel Filler tube

When trying to fill up the fuel tank on my 61 Strato, I noticed a bit of fuel leaking out from underneath the car. I got under and looked....turns out the fuel filler tube (the rubber part) is cracked and rotten to the point it's falling apart if I even touch it.

Now, would anyone know if I can use a filler tube off an Impala, since the tank is quite similar, or, do I need a different size?

So it's just the rubber hose you need? If so, it's expensive but you can buy it at some auto parts jobber stores. You have to make sure it's fuel resistant though, and that makes it hard to find some times.

Yes, just the rubber hose. Looks like the clamps could be replaced also.

I was looking at this part. Just need to know if it would fit the Poncho, rather then an Impala.

3834073 also fits 59-65 full size Canadian Pontiacs except station wagon. That's the one for you.

I was informed that hose is 2" inside diameter. I have the same problem, and I was told I could get a piece of gas line hose over the counter at Fort Gary Industries in Winnipeg. You might see if there is someone local who could provide it.

Alrighty. Thanks for the help. I did end up buying the part from Impala Bob's, but this was since I also needed a few other parts that I ordered from him also.

Was a good thing too, I tried to remove the clamps, and they were so rusted out, they snapped in two. disbelief Oh well. Better safe then sorry.
