My friend has straightened out any scrapes or dents and left them in black primer as you can see. She's good and ready for the next step.
The original colour is Coronado Gold Metallic.
Trunk has a small hole - driver's side, the usual place. Easily repairable, or you can just leave it. The metal around it is sound.
The frame is sound. Not rusty, but there's a small ding on the underside - just forward of the driver's seat. Looks like an earlier owner bumped it over a curb or rock. It doesn't affect anything and you can't see it unless you get down on the ground. The rocker panels are fine and straight.

I don't know if it was a Canadian Poncho guy who bought it, but if he's dedicated, he'll show up here eventually!
The frame had degraded over the year since I last saw her, so I'm glad she's in the hands of someone who will take care of her and stop her declining any further. Since I last saw her the windshield picked up a big crack and the door picked up a dent. The body's fixed up now, but too bad about the windshield and frame! Nothing that can't be fixed though.
With that fresh motor, transmission and straight body she goes like stink and still turns heads. She's a good platform for the right person to go to work on!
A lot of lowriders in Langley - maybe that's where she's headed? Wrapped frame, more primer, Astro Supremes & Mexican blankets for a year or two? *imokwiththis.jpg* I'd like to see what happens to her. I wonder how far she'll be restored. Best wishes to the guy.
Now - Who's got a RHD export Pontiac in Europe or the UK!?
