California seats, the frames would be perfect.

I saw all you guys with Suburban avatars and had to join in but my favourite Subs are a bit older than the ones you guys are showing.

So I need to wake up and read before I look at ads and then ask questions!!!

Thanks, I'll likely see him tomorrow morning and I will tell him.

these are a bargain - I'm really sorry that it didn't work out with Larry - I can't believe the timing never worked

you'll land up doing better dollar wise this way

I think those seats are too narrow likely. The tracks certainly won't work. A quick measurement will confirm that though.

And I forgot to ask the guy on Sunday morning if he needs seats but I know his project is VERY long term so don't wait for me.

Thanks Carl. I would like to get the seats at least LOOKUNG original.. I'm not opposed to using Impala seats (since I know they fit) but not sure if it looks correct as far as seat trim etc. ??? The seats it had are shot! Franmes rusted solid and upholstery non existant.. was hidden with slip over sheep skin covers. lol.any ideas/advice for my resto.. as i daid, NOS has helped me with upholstery but need to know what to put it on..

Man, I wish I had a car those would fit !! Tempting to buy them for my 442, convert to column shift and sell my reupholstered buckets for big coin.......but I'd better not :)

I haven't been able to flog my rear seat, so I looked at e-Bay. One worse than mine, torn, ripped, rusted and no speaker grille was listed for $600 US with flat rate $200 shipping.....and it sold. February 28th, my goodness. I've thrown mine on there now for $200 plus $200 shipping for each section, upper rear and lower rear. If that doesn't work I'll keep trying different things until I finally I finally give up and wrap them in plastic. Then they can dwell in the barn until the mice eat them.

You might try e-Bay local pick up only. Ads are free if you go seven day stretches. Hasn't worked for me, but I have no patience. I know somebody who put a set of heavy rare rims on for $200 local pick-up only, and someone from southern States sent a shipping company to pick them up. Probably cost him 5 or 6 hundred by the time they reached their new home.
