I don't like selling anything on here to be truthful. When I do I basically sell it at such a low price that it should be embarassing for the purchaser. Having said that I have had issues as well. I sold some parts that were perfectly good driver quality. Purchaser had PM'd me asking if I had these piece so I never offered them for sale on here in the first place, Purchaser had photos on hand of each of the 4 pieces front and back. I had several of these pieces and hand picked the absolute best ones, good used OEM trim parts, hard to find in any condition and only recently reproduced at $250 a set. I threw in 4 brand new pieces to be used in conjunction with other parts. These sell for $50 and up. My price for all of this $60. I was told that they were junk etc etc...and of course they were for a car that was bought for $1,500 or so and they should have been NOS eh? I don't need $60 that bad so I sent him back the $60. So he has nice driver quality OEM Canadian Poncho only pieces and brand new never used parts and his money back. It's nice to get free parts isn't it. That's why I don't ask for money any more, like yesterday I offered a member 4 wire wheels for free.

i've sold some things but the only one that stood out was i was asked to get some trim. i got the trim but it wasn't great and the person that asked me to get it decided he didn't want it and tossed in the bucks to cover my time and cost. this is good. now someone else wanted it and i told them it was far from perfect and took a lot of detailed pics of the damage. they still wanted it. i double wrapped in shipping tubes gave them the shipping quote, still good. after they received it they weren't impressed with the quality of the trim. what? i don't hunt for stuff for anyone anymore. if you want it i will tell you were it is. i still have some trim in my attic that someone wanted for their car. they have since sold the car. this one really didn't bother me that much i have no money into it just time.

I've seen some of the parts people have received from other members and I quite frankly would have been embarrassed to have shipped them in the first place. Some were completely unusable and ready for the garbage pail. I also saw a pair of valve covers another member recieved and they were completely rusted. no

This post is to notify other members of a non paying member on this site. I have been selling good usable car parts for over 20 years and have experienced my first non paying "individual". His site name is bigblocks4ever and I recommend you do not do business with him. I sold him parts, after several private messages,  trusting him to pay for his parts and the shipping,a total of $91. The parts were sent on June 27 and after 4 emails I have given up on the payment. This guy Frank is a parasite to the fine people on this site. BEWARE!

Had the same problem with this guy, wanted my bell and pedals I had in the sale section, had to PM him 4/5 times to get his name and then address.I priced shipping, PM'd him the total cost ,and waited-and waited- and waited and got NO response. I inquired with the site Founder because the bell sale $$ were to go to the website as a donation and was riddiculed by a  member for thisconfuse   ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

To be fair I should also add that I got a killer 454 big block from 427Carl for a more than fair price, that engine is so bad it lets the LeMans walk away from bonna fide muscle cars. Incredible deal.

I've had nothing but good purchases and sales here, everything has gone without a hitch. The only issue I've experienced is some members prefer not to sell to me and I can only assume that because I represent a business and have to make a profit in order to exist, I have to mark up what I buy to maintain existing. BUT in my own defence I NEVER jump on the good deals here, I wait 24 hours minimum and if no one pipes up, I mention that we're interested if no one else is and wait it out, if no steps up and the seller is willing, then the deal is done. But man there has been some great deals, those '68 bucket seats for $125. ouch that one hurt watching it go by, and the 66-67 ACADIAN hood emblem that was donated by auction to Poncho, I believe it went for around $100. I wanted that emblem sooo bad and would have paid much more, but I want to maintain good relations with as many persons as I can so we can all enjoy the fun of the hunt! d.

It was a stellar job. Here's pretty much how it looked when I got it.

Nothing but good experiences at this end. Both selling, donating, purchasing, and recieving for free.
There's always a bad apple or two. We just can't lump everyone in the same category.

All positive experiences here and many times the parts and the payment cross paths on their journey. Some parts I have sent and told the buyer to look at them first before sending payment. Many times I received more than the price I was asking for the item. Usually I can get a pretty good feel on them whether they are shiesters or not. Great site to do business, unfortunate to hear though that it always isn't.

experience with part sale/payment rec'd

Interesting      I have had wonderfull experiences with the "guys"

one fellow did send me some rusty junk and one fellow finally paid me 200 of the 400 he owed me   other than that I'm very happy

and there was that one car, that was a gross misrepresentation   but  other than that I am happy

I have had no issues buying from members here and I've done quite a few transactions. All the folks I've dealt with have been helpful, direct and good to do business with.

Never had any problems on this site ... you guys rock !!! I had one bad experience on Ebay, guy got pissed off because I won his auction real cheap, he wanted more for his item so he mailed the parts months later and made sure they were broken, I left him a negative feedback so did others and shortly after he wasn't on ebay anymore. The worst are, Alot of no show from kijiji ...
