Love the car ... what do you think it will go for?

Like Carl says, I would hate to get a speck of dirt on it!

I have not researched the Firebird market at all or ever for that matter but these Trophy Cars go for big money down south. If that 70 Judge I looked at was asking $250,000 and this has to be one of te most if not most deireable Trans Ams  I suppose it has to approach or break $150K

Well it is 1 of 697(incl. 8 ragtops). Probably the most desireable T/A if not the second most next to the '73 Brewster Green SD 4 spd w/Tan interior. My opinion of course.

Being a RAIV car makes it extra special and worth more than the higher production RAIII T/A in '69.... nice car!

The 303 Pontiac engine was never offered in a production vehicle by Pontiac. It was developed to enable Pontiac to use it's own engine in Trans Am racing. For some reason this development created huge difficuties inside Pontiac and they campaigned the "Canadian" 302 cars until 1970, the rules then changed and made the engine obsolete.  The 303 was avaialble as an over the counter part for racers.

I'm sure this is the magazine article I read back in 1969 about the 303. I can't read this small print but I think I remember it using a 4.125 block with a special 2.84" short stroke crank.

Thanks

Randy

I have read a few articles about the 303 as well, a few cars had it installed for testing however never offered to the public.
