"Survivor" 1952 Canadian Pontiac Fleetleader Special; For Sale, Caretaker Needed!!!!! $4600

I'm sad to say that I must put the '52 Survivor up for sale, like I said in the post in "Monthly Feature Car" section, This car is 100% all there, 99.8% Original, drives straight as an arrow, is very very solid for being 60 years old and all original metal on body and floor. This car has NEVER been Restored, just maintained very well. I bought this car with my heart in the right place and didn't want to see it go to the "wrong home". Me being a small business, I should have kept searching for a car with a business sense of mind that I could have redone the interior in a  retro-mod or pro touring style and use it as my demonstration vehicle . I hope and trust that this car will find a person that values and respects the Survivor Originality in this '52. I am looking to get around $4600 for the car. This car has a current Manitoba Safety Inspection good until May 2013. This car has had the brakes done before I got it and they are still brand new, the fuel tank and filler tube/hose is new, the water pump is newly rebuilt, the King Pins are new, the idler arm is rebuilt this year, passenger  long tie-rod is new, drivers side tie rods were done before I got the car, the drag link was rebuilt this year, new stabilizer end links this year, tires are like brand new, engine was gone through with new parts and seals by previous owner, the tranny was gone trough by the previous owner, the car shifts so very smooth and the clutch works like new, not even hard to press and engages like new, the car does come with an couple boxes of miscellaneous parts acquired by myself and previous owner, includes extra 52 Clock, NOS front end parts still in their original boxes. The car is pretty loaded for its time having add on turn signals, clock, radio, front visor, rear side skirts, windshield washer fluid sprayers, lots of trim and the trim on the top of the rear fenders that goes down to the tail lights (I have not seen this on any other Canadian Fleet leader ) the car has less than 78,000 original well driven and cared for miles. The passenger rear door and front part of the rear quarter panel had previous body work done ( most likely done in the '60's) the car has a few dents on it but they just add character to the car, the paint is real old age "Patina" not the costly repaint to make it appear "old" . The interior is complete with only one tiny hole on the back seats bottom and some mild beauty stains that could be steam cleaned out but I was  going to leave it the way it is. I'm sure that I'm missing more great things about the car but I will add them as I think of them. I'm only posting this car on Canadian Poncho first to let someone here get the first chance to purchace, or if you know someone that would love to have a True Time Capsule and will keep it original please let them know. I do want to see this car go to a purest, Canadian Classic passion filled person that will leave it as is or restore it to factory, this car has many" Chalk Marks" under the hood, original oil bath air filter and the dealer added external oil filter, this car does not burn oil. Please view the "Monthly Feature Car" section for more photos or contact me and I can send you more details pics of areas you would like to see, I have not even given this car a complete cleaning so what you will see is what you will get. $4600 Thanks for viewing.

Its true Darryl, I really hope that we can find a good home for this old gal, I hate having to sell it as I enjoy driving it and hearing all the stories and memories others have to share with similar cars. Its just not the right fit for me at this time, if I was raking in the cash right now, I wouldn't have any thoughts of selling it.

Chris i hope you get what you are looking for and i too hope this wonderful Pontiac goes to the "right home". It would be a real sad shame if the wrong person got this car and did sad silly things to it. It is a true survivor Canadian Pontiac and should stay that way. A sweet beautiful car and she deserves respect. Good luck with the sale Chris. Cheers. George.

You bet I am!!! & George, just couldn't help myself, had to reply to your quote to B-52. Glad you have a good sense of humour, mines a "little" on the WARPED side. His 52 is way to good to even thing about doing anything to it, where as mine was "almost too far gone in the floor & 1/4 dept for a "restoration"& had allready under gone the frame swap!!!!

Yup, that's right Pete, my '52 has all original floors and body panels. NO PATCHES!!!!!!!! The frame is so solid, its like new. I was told this car was always garage kept and never was a "City Car", until 4 months ago when i acquired the car it has only been on the country highways and roads. Ask any body guy, they would rather work with a few dent repairs than rust repair

Unfortunately, I'm in with the "rodders" crowd, here in Ont. & to know someone off hand that would be interested in the car is slim, not to say that i wouldn't keep my ears open for you here!!!!

Excellent work Pete and you have every reason to be proud of that sweet Pontiac. Hopefully one day we can hook up at a car show. Are you going to the NORWOOD CAR SHOW this coming Saturday October 6. That is the season ender for me and i will be there unless the weather sucks. That is just around the corner from you. Hope to see you there brother. Cheers. George.
