I couldn't resist... I had to "age it" a little:

Or to take it one step further:

That's awesome Mark, I love the bottom pic the most so I saved it. That would be a cool business making old school pics of cars out of current one. Thank you. Even a hint of gold haze over the pic would be cool on a black and white.biggrin

It was fun to do, actually.   But it would be impossible without the proper photo composition to start with.  The old bridge in the background without too much of obvious current vintage in the photo (except for the lighting on the beams, for example, but you have to look for it) makes it the perfect candidate.

I use a shareware program called Graphic Converter which makes it really easy to do by playing around with brightness/contrast/saturation.

Glad you like it!  smile

Thanks Darryl, I tried to search for pics of your '64 but I can't find any, I wanted to do an "aged" pic for you. Mark got me hooked on this aging pic thing  I tried using your avitar but the pic is small, It looks like it was taken in the '60s now.

Cool modified pics. You need to photoshop some tumble weeds around it.

Uh-oh... looks like I created a monster!  biggrin

I've always been hooked on old photos, now with the internet there are tons of them out there to be viewed, especially with the city and provincial archives that are coming on line.  Now when I see a photo that somebody takes that would lend itself to "aging"... I can't resist!  wink

Here's an online archive for Winnipeg/Manitoba to get you started....  http://umanitoba.ca/libraries/archives/tribune/photographs/photo_search.php

I attempted to remove the "gang" grafitti from the wall in the background to give it a more convincing vintage look:

What do you mean? I thought that grafitti was around since the 1800's lol smile That turned out great!

I thought that looked like 19th century spray paint, but I wasn't sure! biggrin

The "coverup" job looks a little rough if you zoom in, but luckily once you zoom out again it looks like the shingles are just not straight on the old building...

Your pic really captures the "flavour" of those old black and whites that I love searching out.  Kinda reminds me of these:

That makes sense to me too, biggrin just need $4200 now (price includes a $100 contribution by me) . I did increase the price for NON-CP members To $4600. If the remaining 84 contributors can send the money to Todd, Then i can sell it to him, then this can become the "Mobile Banner" for CP and Todd could make it a "Tax right off" maybe too as an "advertising expense" . Feel free to start a new thread to take donations For the purchase of the survivor, i can sign it first.

If the car was sold that way, I would know that it would be in the care of true Pontiac Lovers. Who knows how long it would take to raise the $4300, I'm not in a big rush to sell it and it will be going to storage if it does not sell soon. Oh that's $4200 because of my $100 contribution. well make that $4150 with 427Carrl's beer collection being cashed in smile

Looks like we are down to $4100 already for this '52 to become the next "Spokes model" for Canadian Poncho

As much as I'd love to be the caretaker of this car, I don't feel right asking for contributions to buy it.
