.................many thanks for your words of support fella's - I must admit that seeing the great cars, and reading the build stories on this site has inspired me to pick up the pace a little!!  I looked at many sites before joining this one, and I think this one is right at the top of the pile!!

............I agree - overlooked for way too long - my first Parisienne sighting was when I was ten, and our neighbour purchased one - ever since then I swore that I'd get one when I could afford it, hence here we are - Ive got one (but still cant afford it lol lol).........theres many "US Pontiacs" about the place, but fewer "Canadians".................I know of several + the additional ones (in Australia)  Ive met via this site - 69parisienne - bigholden - steya..................and others that arent Parisiennes.............love the Canadian Pontiacs, particularly the ones built in Australia as their steering wheels are on the wrong side from factory!!!

Im stoked by this sites interest - particularly as its from the other side of the world..............

David you are obviously a master craftsman. That can easily be seen in your work here. What are your plans for engine, tranny, interior, wheels and paint colour? It is so nice to see that our Canadian Pontiac's are appreciated by our fellow brothers around the world. David much good luck to you with your sweet Pontiac ride. Please continue to keep us posted on further updates. Cheers mate. George.

.........many thanks for your words of support..............I get alot of encouragement from seeing other Poncho's on this site going through similar processes..............

....as far as heading South, you may appreciate our summer months here - were just heading into them now as Im sure you'd appreciate being that its nearly your winter - usually hovers between mid twenties and low fourties (celcius)..............DAMN HOT!!

.............as for the Master Craftsman thing - thanks - but thats not me, although I like to give everyting my best shot - many moons ago I was a motor mechanic, and studied automotive engineering (until I decided to start pushing papers around a desk, and growing fatter - lol lol)..............I've completed / restored everything on the car to date with the exception of the panel fabrication - that was left to the experts at All Car Restorations (see link on separate thread) - those guys can do the works re hand fabricating panels, roof chops, tubbing etc etc etc...........AMAZING!!

.....as far as the the rest of the resto............engine and trans - expect to see a "big" small block hooked up to a Turbo 350...............interior (see separate thread with pics of work to date) - buckets, console etc - all black and era specific.................wheels - Centerline Autodrag - satin machine finish - big / little look...................colour - black over black.................rear end is 12 bolt with 3.55 gears and Posi center - c clip retainers..................disk brake front end etc.............

.....again - many thanks for your words of encouragement - keeps me motivated............

hi David; always enjoy seeing these dual citizen Pontiacs. I'm not a body man but from what I see, keep up the good work. I had a customer, an automotive engineer who worker for GM Canada in the day. He remembers these cars being boxed up for shipping. He remembers a few 427 BB cars going to South Africa but don't recall any going to Australia. If we can help with your weatherstrip, headliner, carpet, etc. let me know. Glad to do a quote

thanks; Dale @ NOS

.....thanks Dale.....I plan to contact you for a quote re headliners etc............unfortunately no 427 BB cars assembled here - all SB 5.3 litre 327's in the Parisienne and the Impala..........hence the reason Im going for a "big" SB - keeps the spirit of the era alive I reckon.............
