My 1981 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Convertible

Here is my 1981 Turbo TA Convertible, I bought this car about 5 years ago when i was no longer able to ride my motorbike, as luck would have it the day I sold my bike I found this car. The car is originaly from Ontario, The car is a survivor it has 41000 documented kilometers on it, , it is almost a full oad car but missing afew little options, thought you might get a kick on what this car sold for in 1981, check out the attched invoice and the original pamphlet on how to fold the top down. I do driv the car regularly, but have only put on about 2k in the last 5 years.P1050502kijiji.JPGP1050504kijiji.JPGP1050505kijiji.JPGP1040273kijiji.JPGP1050499kijiji.JPGP1050499kijiji.JPGP1050501kijiji.JPGP1050503kijiji.JPG

Cool car. The price to make it a convertible was a bit steep! Wow! $7000 in 1981 was a lots of money.

That is where I bought it from. Sent it by train Alberta, was very nervous as I only saw pics of it. It was beyond my expectations when it arrived.

When I was living in Edmonton(late '79-late '80) I came across a parking lot, in the southern part of the city close to the SouthGate Mall, full of Z/28 and Trans Am ragtops.Had to be 100 or more.It was a real impressive sight.I was too young to have an ipod touch/phone so that I could've taken a few pic's for future viewing LOL.All that exists now are the picture's in my mind..........
