If not mistaken, we may still have a nice all black steering wheel here, as a matter of fact, if it is still here, then it'll be hooked up to a tilt '65 column (for a console car). Hmmm, getting older sucks, forgot all about that one, 'til I saw this thread. d.
dosent that wheel have the clear plastic top and bottom tho?
Yep, like a '64 CS.
Yes the same look as a '64 CS, but different wheel design though. By the way Tom, we checked and we have a black and clear '65 CS steering wheel here, its not perfect, but is definately better than most we've seen. Also have a black with clear '64 wheel as well, again fairly decent condition. d.
Hi Tom, Check out Doug Lepak from Edmonton. his web site is www.stwheelz.com . Contact him and see if he does clear? Quality Restorations in California is the big guy and they DO clear. Tel: 858.271.7374
Thanks guys. I'll follow up on the names you'v provided. I will be in Az this winter so can get intouch with the guy in CA and have my wheel shipoped there. Kevin, as you know I have the spare that I bought from you. Just to remind everyone, I'm still on the hunt for the power seat frame for my 65 CS.

Renewing this topic for a member to view pics of our wheel. Tony, as mentioned, this is definately not perfect but may be better than yours and easier to repair??? Cheers Dave
