I think these are dealer promo pics. The '71 Acadian is a black and white photo.

Awesome. What happened to colourful interiors? That black and red car is just gorgeous. I have noticed a white BMW hartop convertible in my parking garage with a red interior. It seems that BMW and Audi are moving this way but GM still has two basic colours for interior Graphite and Biege.

Funny how the color in the first picture makes the headliner look red as well.

I'm all for the colorful interiors again. Had a black Z71 in the 90's with red leather. It was sharp compared to beige.

In 2009, the closest thing you could get to a colorful interior looked like this:
