Replaced them with new ones, but would like to save the old ones for re-sleeving, if possible. Is there anyone here in the Great White North that does this kind of thing? Is it prohibitively expensive?
Thanks, R.

Tried the cylinder hone, worked well on the MC, but the wheel cylinders were too pitted to put back into service. Sure is fun, when the cylinder hone slips out of the bore and gives your fingers a coupla' slaps!

There was a place in washington that does them, it was on my classic car about 10 years ago, White post restorations i think it was called
Ya, save those old GM "MADE IN CANADA" or MADE IN USA wheel cyls and get them resleved with stainless inserts, way better than the chinese crap, and worth the extra price for sure, i have a huge box of originals, just never sent tehm in yet
Interested to hear what you find and the price, etc, keep us posted!!!

There is a place in Stoney Creek, ON - John Stuart 1-800-309-1995 www.johnstuartpowerbrake.com haven't used them
Do know that White Post Restorations do a good job.
Your profile doesn't show what car you have but by the forum this is listed in I'd say pre58. With a bit of sleuthing you should be able to find an NOS set. If you can't find NOS then PM me and I'll give you a guys name in NY who should be able to get them.
Norontcan - sorry, you caught me. Just updated my profile and you're right - my '52 Chieftain is pre-1958. Will do some searching of the two sources mentioned and, if NOS is required, will take you up on your kind offer. Regards,
R.

Another source for NOS stuff like that is Mid Canada Suspension in Winnipeg. Norm is a great guy and has an amazing inventory of old chassis parts. Just google him, easy to find.
