I would love to trade for and only for a 69 2+2, or another 69 Firebird but I'm not holding my breathe.

I was/am going the flat green route as this was going to be a summer bomber and I didn't want to get into a resto at this time. The front suspension is rebuilt except for the idler arm and steering socket. Brakes have been gone through with new hoses and shoes and I had a set of drums that were machined a long time ago that I cleaned up and installed. I converted the brakes to a dual pot master cylinder but still need to located a manual brake pedal/swing arm.

The interior is completely shot, no pictures cause there's just scraps of upholstery hanging on the seat frames. There is the typical rust of the floor braces,  rear gravel pan and bottoms of the front fenders.

The engine in the car was originally built for an 85 Z28. It's a 5.0 with hypereutectic pistons, lumpy cam and early 305 HO heads. Ran the motor one summer in my 21' boat and it pulled pretty decent for a small engine. Trans is a 91 700R4 from a 2wd burb. I have the parts to convert over to a mechanical speedo drive.
