68 Beaumont Master cylinder

My car came equipped with front discs, but non-power. I have recently converted to power brakes and have my old non-power front disc/rear drum Master cylinder to give away. It works fine and is in excellent shape. Free to a good home if you pay the shipping from Edmonton.

Pechetr, just my opinion, but I would keep your old (original) parts just in case down the road they are needed to put the car back to stock form. No insult intended.

I would normally agree. There is no putting this car back to stock. Not the original motor, tranny, interior etc.

My opinion is the following Roger.

Value for these old cars is determined in three ways. Non-restored numbers matching, restored numbers matching, non number matching. There seems to be the highest value for numbers matching non restored or restored, but a second big market is also emerging...That market is what many call "resto-mod". This is a restored vehicle in appearance, but with some modern conveniences. These cars are now going for just as much and in some cases more than numbers matching restorations. If your car could have been originally optioned with discs then I don't think you are straying too far. Not to mention if you keep your original parts as Pontiacanada eluded to, then you can always put things back if you need to. If you already have a non numbers matching engine, I say go for it! Just my 2 cents.

Looks like the Bendix master cylinder, the kind used on the early 4-piston disk brakes. Delco was used on drum brake cars and can be used on later single-piston disk brakes (use a proportioning valve though).
