Hey John, I was wandering around in the Acadian section and found the registry but no luck with your answer.

Make sure you poke around all over in the Acadian section. You'll find a few 62 owners here. One of them, (member 62Beaumont) lives not far from me.

Welcome here John.

Can someone help this man out with his question? I saw him post over at Steve's Nova Site so I slyly recommended he come over here! I didn't want the guys at Steve's to get mad at me for stealing members but I figured he may have more luck on here.

hey carl thanks . by the way ive got a 1967 canso and im looking for a rear bumper mine needs rechroming and my backup light fixtures need to be replaced i guess no one reproduces these i also need canso fender emblems and the acadian script that goes on the hood front drivers side and i need a signal lense pass. side any help would be great.

I am pretty sure everyone on here has a soft spot for early Acadians - even if it isn't the car we own. The '62 wagons have got to be pretty rare. You can get documentation from GM that will list how many of that model were manufactured, along with a list of the options your car left the plant with. I believe the cost is about $75.

I think Dale's Muscle Car Parts in Bracebridge, ON has repro Canso script for the 67. Contact GM Vintage Vehicles for the info on your car. No option info from them prior to 1964 Acadians.

You can get the fender emblems new from Dales Beaumont Parts, or if you want old original I have one you can buy for $50 obo plus the ride, as far as hood scripts go there is one on ebay right now, or I have an original one that has been fixed and is not great for $75 obo plus the ride. If you are interested I can email pics. As far as the other parts I would give Menno a call at 604 856 5526.

After I found mine the father in law found a bunch of info using the vin# it's somewhere in 375 mark if I remember right! Hope that helps
