My brothers new project

This is my brothers new project. A 1952 Chevy two door. This car was built in the 70s, driven for a short period and then parked till now. The guy who built it read up on all of the performance and hot Rod mods to do and then built the car. Upgraded to the 261 in-line six. Then punched it and aftermarket pistons. Ported and planed the head. Upgraded the valvetrain and put a McGurk cam into it. Dual carb and split exhaust. Put a four-speed manual behind it and the newer 10 bolt diff. Drove the car for part of a year and then spun a bearing and parked it. Super cool car. My brother would like help decoding the serial number to identify the model and original options. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

winkYes i agree ,very nice project and the six is a keeper. The motor hopefully doesnt have any other issues and the duel quads are just plain old school cool.
There are nice sixs running around and im really starting to love em. Its nice to have big power and torque with a v8 but it just costs with broken stuff, ask me how i know.
Love to do a motor like that one day and its nice to be unique at a show or cruise. Good luck

My brother lives in Lantzville BC. The car was on Craigslist out on the Island. So very possibly from Victoria. Do you know the car? Or any of the past history?

The six is the way to run on that ol' bomb. As for paint, ever heard of scallops? They would look great on a customized '52. Maybe some lake pipes that you can uncork, too!
