Welcome to the site from Winnipeg. What you can tell from your vin is that it is a 69 Beaumont 8 cylinder custom hardtop. The three engines available for this model was the 255 or 300 HP 350 cu. engine and the 307.

Ian, would there be a 307 and 327 available in the lower level car, or am I wrong?

Yes your right about the 307. Forgot about that one. 327 not available in 69 A body cars. Made a correction to above post.

Hello everyone ! I've just stumble across this site surfing the web for information regarding my 69 Beaumont .

Maybe some of you will be able to help...

I bought the Beaumont last year on the south shore of Montreal and i'm in the process of restoring it.

First of all i'd like to lknow if you could tell me more about the car by the VIN number : 7363791114548

There's just not much info on the web for Canadian Pontiac !

There was a 455cid in the car wich i've found to be a 455 rocket correct to that year. Question is !! Dit they put 455cid in a Beaumont or is it just someone over the years who did a engine swap ?

Thanks all !!

The only engine original in a 69 would be a 6 cylinder, a 307, 327 or 350 I believe. Well, except for an ultra rare 69 SD 396 Beaumont.

For info, can you post up the numbers off the cowl tag on the firewall? That tells more about how the car was when it was new.

Welcome here!

Oh, too bad.

That will tell original colour and interior colour, build date and possibly some options.

Just comparing your vin to mine and notice your car built just 182 cars before mine. Mine was built May 20th so yours must be close to the begining of may.

I contacted Vintage Vehicle Services and the info they supplied from the VIN was outstanding. Well worth the money. Welcome from Edmonton.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome ! :)

Pontiacanada : I believe it's the original paint on the car . Will probably repaint it next winter with a nice candy apple red and a new vinyl top .

Car as a brand new 305 match to a 700r4 that i've rebuilt last summer, since it is my daily driver and i do like to travel in it. Probably gonna go to Barrie Ont. with it for the flea market... See if i can find some deals on parts for it or some of my other projects . :)
