The Brady Bunch Mobile - 1974 Suburban with 454 tow package $1500 From California SOLD May 20

I bought this and planned to haul that 68 427 Parisienne home with this unit but found a better way - dont need it now so its gone.

US truck - Bought new in Kansas - spent winters in California.  Arrived in Victoria BC 3 years ago - currently registered in BC.  127k miles.

454, TH400, tilt, AC, tinted glass, 3.73 and third seat - no other options.  Body is very nice and everything works except radio.

New rad hoses, just changed tranny filter and fluid, fuel filter, oil change.  Recent dual exhaust front to back (sounds good).  Runs well.

Truck is in Duncan, BC Vancouver Island.

$1500? That's a steal. While the 454 is cool, that would be the perfect truck to do an LS swap to.

Not to be negative, but I'd hate to pay the gas bill for that puppy.

1974... the first year for Chevrolet's Hydroboost. It may be on the Suburban since it is a trailer towing special. I'm digging the woodgrain. The drip rails above the doors were introduced for 1974. Being a '74 the mileage would be 10 mpg always, thanks to TCS, EGR, AIR, lean mixtures and retarded timing. Easy fix.

I like it.

She's not great on gas for sure - but you can pull a house and 88 people can sit comfortably while you are doing it.

We call this truck "Piglet" - partly because a small toy Piglet was found in the truck - and you can get the other reason - 454 with 3.73 and 5 thousand pounds....

Looks like the truck will get parted - best offer so far is $1300 - I hate to do it - but I may as well keep the engine (fresh tune-up - runs good) and drop it in an Impala.

i would love to have that truck as a daily driver to pull the argosy camper trailer. but realistically i would have to replace the jimmy with it as the winter beater. sorry that it has to be parted down.

Parting Out - 1974 Suburban with 454 tow package $1500 From California

I don't see any rust anywhere - (it must be hiding).

Sorry to report - but no serious interest, so I am parting the truck - I'll keep engine and trans - rest is available for short while before it heads off to China to become toaster ovens.

I'll move this to the parts section now.

Hmmm, someone could buy a $50000 new Suburban or spend $1500 on this and have lots of gas money left over.
