It appears to be a real "stripe"car since there is no quarter panel "Sport Deluxe". Very cool. Quite rare. About 1/4 of the SD cars came with stripes in 67.

 Hey Mike

Are you saying if the 67 had stripes it did not have the 1/4 panel Sport Deluxe?

Was always under the impression the stripe was a factory option or dealer add on but don't

know for sure and can't remember ever seeing an SD without the script on the rear 1/4.

Is that the proper stripe for a 67 SD......I definitely remember seeing the strip back in the day.

Car also appears to be radio delete.

Yes, that is correct, a factory stripe car has no "Sport Deluxe" on the 1/4 in 67, not even any holes were ever there for the emblem.

quote....."radio delete .......how can you tell with the pic above ??"

at first I didn't see an antenna in the normal right front fender location,
so now you got me lookin' a lot closer and there appears to be an
old style whip antenna on the drivers rear side fender.......

so much for my sleuthing abilities..........
cheers

It still could be delete, with the aftermarket rear antenna and radio added later.

My '63 Impala has an aftermarket antenna located in the rear passenger fender, an aftermarket in-dash stereo, and a factory antenna hole in the replacement front passenger fender!confuse

To top it all off, it is a radio delete car (I have the factory delete plate). biggrin
