Hah!  The saga never ends!  Had trouble with the motor/reservoir.  Just would not work. Got that fixed. Armature etc - usual motor stuff.  Yes, now it is in!  But WAIT - there's more!!!  Followed all the instructions regarding what to put in; not to overload reservoir etc. But where is all the fluid going?  ANSWER?  On the floor of my shop.  Cylinder leaks through top seal.

So now, I have learned how to take out the rear seat etc.... I read another post on here somewhere that says the cylinder is a one-piece build.  Anyone else know that to be true?  That post was from NOS Reproductions.  Looks like one piece to me.

If I need a new one (might as well do both at the same time.) where is a place where I can buy a couple?  NOS - sent a msg, awaiting reply.

Anyone else experienced this issue - lately?

Incidentally, I asked here for, and received advice on, what fluid to use.  Answers:  Brake fluid; hydraulic fluid, ATF.  I have chosen Hydraulic jack fluid, made by GUNK.  IT will be a complete system flush now, of course!  One constant piece of advice was not to mix.

I'll let you know how it works out!
