1962 PONTIAC STRATO CHIEF:  This 2 door post would make an excellent drag car or super stocker re-creation. The fact that this is a Canadian model means that it would have run a Chevy engine 327 or 409, or even the original 261 6cyl. This car has added provenance in the fact that it is an ex-police car. The body is in better than average condition for an un-restored car. The interior is mostly gone with the exception of an original type 2 door sedan seat, and the dash is intact. A lot of reproduction items are available as most of the car is Chevy based. From the front, this car bears a resemblance to the '64 GTO.  This came about as the early Tempest economy cars borrowed styling cues from the full-sized Pontiacs. This car is being sold as a roller with no engine or trans. Some parts are available from a 4door parts car. The wagon is available separately for $800.
The asking price for the sedan is negotiable: $3500. as shown with the slicks and Corvette ralley wheels- or $2250. with original style 14" wheels and tires. Sorry, not interested in trades, or PAY PAL scams. Reply via phone calls- no texts.  403-341-3708

That's cool! No engine or trans eh? I have an engine & a trans that will fit in there perfectly.

Pontiac didn't actually offer a 409 in Canada until the 1963 models.
