barn find: 68 2+2 convertible , 396, loaded, offers and trades considered


Rare barn find from Langley ,BC. , stored for 23 years. 1968 Pontiac Parisienne 2+2 convertible , we did a lot of work to get it safe and on the road again.it runs and dives nice . this car has : 396/325 hp , th400, posi(added by previous owner) , tilt steering wheel, power bucket seat, power top, power windows , power steering, power brakes , rear speaker, dual exhaust, skirts, wire wheel hubcaps , f40 hd suspension, headrests, remote rear view mirror, original tripoli turquoise with white parchment interior

good floors,nice front fenders, very small rust in trunk, some rust in quarters, top is good (3/8" long loose stitch/ no leaks) new windshield, nos hood hinges installed,

i also have the correct original hubcaps and 14" wheels, original 14" spare tire, rocker mouldings , skirts .

Extra:  front bumper with grilles , rear bumper(good core) ,2  convertible/hardtop doors (nice), hood,  dash, front valance,  pair of skirts, tailights, and boxes of extra small parts.

I noticed that on the firewall as well. And that's not meant to be a negative comment. That thing would be good looking in either colour.

The original colours, Tripoli Turquoise with a white top & interior, plus the wire wheel covers make me think that it would have looked like a convertible version of Canadianponcho member "Landshark"s 68 2+2.

Man that would be a seriously nice car restored. Good options. PW's in a Droptop is a must for a quick top down and get going.
For all that your getting, the price seems reasonable as well!

Im not laughing Geoff,i took my 68 to a truck wash and peeled off the rocker paint DUH little to much press.

The irony in all this is that I parted out that green 68 2+2 396/325 hp convertible a few years ago - before I realized how much I like these cars.  Hate to admit it - but sent the car to the crusher with all the original fender louvers and 2+2 emblems - Dogh!
