If that car was in fact a B07 Police Package car from the factory it would have a 140 mph speedo, plus it would have a trio of needle gauges in the rectangular clock spot (temperature, ammeter & oil pressure). It would be very rare if it had that because that stuff wasn't available any other way on the 69/70 big Chevies.

It reminds me of dad's old '70. Dad's '70 Biscayne only had a six, but at least it also had a clutch pedal. It looked exactly like the following picture (I doctored it to look just like his old car):

That looks like the RCMP Bedford N.S. Detachment "ghost car" that patrolled our area as a kid. The next year it was a 70 454 Biscayne in the same color. Our neighbour bought it when it was retired in 71.

We had a red one here, ghost car too, 335 hp 427, and as the Chrysler sales guy who took it in trade said..
"any of our 340 cars can run away from this.."

Never knew what became of it.

But yes, the cowl tag is a giveaway.

 Yep, price keeps going up, and then he threatens to cut it up in little pieces and crush the remains... biggrin

Just kidding, but we've seen it here before with a '62 Pontiac 4-door... don't think he actually ever cut it up though.  Interesting sales tactic, holding the car ransom so that a dogooder will come to its rescue and "save" it... confuse

Can't believe that nobody has bought this yet.  I mean, I know it's a 4-door and all, but an original 427 car with rebuilt motor, new exhaust and upholstery for $5000?  If the body/frame is good, seems like a lot of car for the money.
