Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody from the Toronto area has seen this car? 1970 Pontiac 2+2.

I am wondering if it is a bunch of bondo under some nice paint or what? The interior looks rough.

I was pleasantly surprised by the video, was expecting hip Hop or the like. Decent tune really.

For the price, from the pictures and video, the car looks pretty good. Add new wheels, chrome bumpers, some front markers and pull out the light show and I'd say you'd have yourself a driver...but look underneath first.

Body & paint look good but whats under it?? $4800 is a decent price if not a 'rust bucket' underneath!!! "RATS" nest of wiring under dash is NOT impressive IMO. Pete

If it's not all plastic over hidden rust, $4800 is pretty good for a car that has a production number of only... 274!

Worth saving I'd say. I've seen people commit to worse.

I knew I'd seen it somewhere before, this must be the same car (the placement of the 350 script, paint on bumper). A Kijiji item about 3 years ago...remember it? I forget what it went for.

Sorry guys, I was not intentionally abandoning the thread I started. I'm sorta getting cold feet 'bout buy the car.

There are no gills behind the front wheels and trunk lid should not say "Parisian" . Seller gave me this Vin7686701117343 . It starts right, ... if it is a real number. The interior looks pretty rough. The outside looks like fairly fresh paint, so I wondering how much plastic is under the paint.

I asked the seller if he had done some motor work, because in the video it sounds pretty meaty. But he said they put that in when the video was made.

I might be better off, just buying the parts I need ( front and back bumpers, tail lens, etc )

Are you looking for a 2+2 convertible or parts? i have a 70 2+2 rag that i'm working on myself and the trunk lid that i've bought for parts has parisenne on it. i'm figuring the guy gets just as frustrated as i do trying to tell folks what a 70 2+2 is. most time i end up telling them its a top trim line of the parisenne.

For those of you with a good memory, fatgoat has the red 70 2+2 454 hardtop with the houndstooth interior that was for sale here in Calgary.   The previous owner is also on this site, and at various times the car had different wheel / tire combinations, including red lines.      Someone also posted a video where the car was used in a movie, a night time winter scene if I recall.

Hi there Fat Goat.

just wondering what kind of parts your looking for. I'm going to be taking my 70 2+2 apart for the 69 strato chief I picked up. I'm planing on using some of the 2+2 stuff for my build but If there is anything I am not using, it certainly will be available for who ever needs/wants 70 stuff.

P.S. I have the 69 running and it sounds like a strong 350 in it, I'm still putting the 454 into it like planned.

Hi saskguy. I need bumpers, front and back and tail lite lens, head lite door/panel drivers side. Their are a few other bits, that are evading my memory banks at this piont in time. Ya, 454 over the 350 any day. You gotta love that axle twisting torque ! Thanks
