Why do people insist on putting the alternator on the wrong side on pre '69 big block cars. It's then that I question the originality of said factory BB cars? Maybe it's just me that notices things like that.......forgive me.

 nope.. I notice that too  !!!  but 5 years ago.. it was hard to find the original brackets.. I paid dear for some for my 68 SD ... now there repopped ..

 

BUT why did they go missing confuse

         I did the same adding power steering to 66 Strato Chief   it was all about brackets
