Best flea market for car stuff to sell

HI   There is a slim possibility that I might be loosing my storage area that has a few 67 Impala parts and other assorted items.

A 307 engine that needs a rebuild  Pull it out from under the bench and it is yours for the taking.  $1.00

I'd like to load stuff up and go to a good flea market hoping to come home empty handed.

MIght even be a nice 14 inch drill press, and some hand tools along with skill saw, sander and other assorted stuff

Not decided on the tool box just yet.

Havent heard back from the landlord yet.

Several years ago I was a vendor at Bothwell for 2 years running and sold a lot of stuff.
It is in August and if the weather is nice - it is huge........made almost a $1000 each weekend.

Lotsa buyers and I even bought some stuff cheap and then resold it at my table.

Not as big as Barrie but imo, a much better show and market.......great all around venue.

Yard sale, KiJiJi, ... both great ideas. Try here also.

I'd sell as much of it as you can at home, so you don't have to truck it to a swap meet.

very good advise........being a vendor should be your last resort........it can be

quite a hassle selling old crap and dealing with buyers......and transporting the stuff

....as for that 307......scrap it......today you can buy a new crate motor very reasonable

a 307 is just not a good idea.........imho........

307 crank is the same as a large journal 327 crank.

I've built one,, nothing wrong with using the 307 crank , no it's not forged... but I abuse mine it it still makes me grin.

you know the fellows...  old greasy tarps on the ground, covered with rusty, greasy parts, with no descriptions, and no prices and a attutude  nono

NOPE!!! last sprg. was the their 1st. one at Lindsay, didn't see much "crap" there, & 90% automotive , [guess some "slipped" in with other stuff] vendors priced "most" of their parts to SELL!!!  Tons of "FREE" parking & big car coral + show area. They had a few 'glitches" but all minor from what I heard. Hopefully they will have a map lay out this yr. Only the vendors got them last yr. & it was a "little' confusing on the ground lay out!!!

Thanks for all the positive responses. May try Lindsay and see what happens.

Live in an apartment so a yard sale is out of the question .

Could I hook up with someone who is going? Not too share a table just to be there with a CP member.

Re the 307 Last time I checked the crank still turns easily-- no idea on the condition though....Make a donation to CP and pick it up. Scrap the rest.

Only automotive flea market's I currently go to now is:
- Bothwell
- Talbotville (between Lambeth & St. Thomas)

40 years ago, use to love going to fall Barrie and often the spring one too.
That all changed 20 years ago, when the non-automotive crowd (candies & dolls) started to ruin it.
That and too many vendors just bringing out only their "junk" and haven't been back since.

Also back in the old days, use to like attending Waterdown, ON.

As of this year there is no more Talbotville swap meet nonono that portion is now City of London. We need a couple new ones now that Tillsonburg and Talbotville are gone!
