These are the factory original plain steel wheels. I have sets or singles. Don`t buy incorrect wheels for your car, or wheels that might be bent. My wheels are guaranteed to be straight and true. I have the standard (14x 5") wheels and the wider station wagon (14x 6") wheels in stock. When they are gone, they are gone. The wrecking yards sure dont have them any more. Single wheels start at $20 per wheel, and sets of four start at $70.

I am looking for a pair of decent 15 X 6" 4 3/4" bolt pattern rims that will accept dog dish/poverty hubcaps. I am also looking for a decent pair of 15 X 6 or 6 1/2" 4 1/2" (yes Ford) bolt pattern rims for hubcaps also. I have 4 very nice 14" X 6" wagon rims that I bought from the guy selling the ones this posting is about. They have more of an offset than standard rims and move the wheels out approx 1" on each side. They have a nice set of Hercules Ultra Plus 215 70R 14 white wall tires and are on my 62 until I get 15" rims. If anyone has any of the 15" rims I need please let me know. I am in Brantford Ontario.

Does anyone have a feel for what shipping would be out to Central BC? Or even which shipper you'd use?
I have some terrific poverty caps (Thanks Carl Stevenson!!) I'd like to be able to swap over to but my original wheels are shot (lug nut bottoms out on the brake drum). I haven't checked local wreckers, but at $20 each for new ones...

I wonder if someone out west is selling these?

I'd like to be able to switch back & forth between the Acadian poverty caps (just to mess with people) and my TT II's. I'm thinking it'd be fun to put the TT II's on one side and the poverty caps on the other at the next show and have a voting system to see the reaction.

for a comparison i had four 15 inch rims sent strathmore AB, to london ON, for about $100 bucks on the grey hound bus, they arrived no problems and seem to have buses going just about anywhere and it only took a fewish days

I have been considering the ones from Summit and when buying them directly (not thru eBay) they are actually less money each and still have free (US) shipping. I thought if for sure there must be some good wheels locally but I will go Summit if I can't find them here. Since I have a 9" Ford in my '62, and plan on using my NOS dog dish caps, I will need 2 Ford and 2 Chevy rims. Luckily Summit sells a 15" smoothie steel rim (won't accept hubcaps) with both bolt patterns for a spare.

I was in the tire business for 35 years    most rims haves gone to scrap     I have tried to buy new  and the 77-89 caprice 15x6 and 15x7  switched to a no hub cap style centre

S10 rims were usable    no all in scrap

The 14 inch in the start of this are all NO DISC RIMS

I guess I would be lucky to get good used rims so I will likely be going with the new ones from Summit. The 14" rims I purchased from this guy that I installed on the car do work with disc brakes. I have aftermarket discs on the front of my '62. Once I get the 15" ones I will be selling these rims.

Something else that's kind of cool about the Wheel Vintiques product line is that they also have 17" steelies (that I assume will accept the poverty caps). For the "resto-mod" look...
