66 Strato Chief


Here's a pic of my '66 Strato Chief and me from a road trip we made last summer, Ottawa to East coast and back.

No problems the entire trip.

Thinking about taking the Chief to Mt. Washington hill climb next month.

Yep, 6cyl. Very base model. Only options Auto trans, power brakes and steering.

Sweet ride, with a 6cyl, you can cruise forever!

65 Catalina 2+2 421 4bbl,  Auto, White, w/red interior, Buckets w/column shift.

66 Grande Parisienne, 2dr HT, 327 4bbl, Auto.

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

It needs a bit of work.
Clear coat peeling off and rust holes in bottom rear quarters.
A few interior trim items missing.

Nothing that stops it from being driven and enjoyed :)

Great trip Darryl, when you put that many miles on you have to really trust your car and when they are 48 yrs old that's a lot of trust. Nice going.
