Haven't seen one of them since the late 80s. A local guy won it new back in the mid 70s height of the van craze.
He kept it very nice for a long time, seldom drove it,always garaged.
I completely forgot about them!
Guess I wasn't a van guy,but it's still a cool ride.

Just needs a bit of buffing.......Wonder why it rusted like that, other than being a typical 70s Ford?

What year would that Denimachine be?   I remember them, but were they early 70's or late 70's?

I googled it, they seem to have been done in 76 to the 77 model year vans.     There's a mass produced 'passion palace' Ford van a couple blocks from me, I'll have to post a photo.

'76 or '77 I think. We(my family) were living in Manitoba in a little town outside Dauphin and you had to fill out these entry cards with a skill testing question.I remember 'cause my brother and I worked at this tiny convenience store sorting bottles for $2/week and we had approximately a bizillion of them filled out but never sent them in. Back then they were pretty cool and I think only each province got one excluding Nunavut of course.Life was way simpliar then.........

This classic "Shagin' Wagon" is a couple hundred yards from my house, I remember Ford had a matching Pinto wagon.

The Pinto at the beach shot is the one I remember that matched the Ford vans.  The Pinto in the street shot looks like it was a repaint, as the stripe colors are different.
