RE: What's the hardest part to find?

The hardest parts to find for a 55 and 56 Pontiac is good solid back up lights, as the housing mounting bolts are always seized and break. The chrome trim on the back up light srews into a hollow on the housing and is next to impossible to get out without breaking. The next is the 1955 paint divider mouldings between the tail lights , backup lights and rear bumper. The four pieces come up once and awhile on Ebay but never as a complete set. The vendors know what they are worth and they are very expensive.

 Cigarette lighter element?

I thought there was only two types found in GM cars in the 60's - Rochester or Casco.

67 different from 66?

By the photograph on the link it appears to be the same. I know 67 and 68 are the same, not sure about 66 though. I also know it's a Casco.

Four speed air cleaner (no thermac or heat stove) took a while to find, but they made them for Impalas too so you can cheat.

The center caps are tough. I've never found one, but found no-name Chevy reproductions that lack any text or logos so they look quite close.

I have what I believe at the last two 1969 NOS 427 emblems. I'd duplicate them if legal and if it could be done without risking my originals.

Proper air cleaner decal would be nice. I see someone is making 3D style emblems for the Chev air cleaners now, but whether that'd help in us getting the "embossed" ones done or not I don't know. We'd need some good reference photos, as the following one is all I have.

I still have a set of NOS 427 emblems as well
