Are you asking if it's correct to have both a column and console shift indicator?  If that's what you're asking, the answer is yes, both my 70 2+2's have the 2 indicators.   The only ones I've seen with a blanked out column indicator is vehicles equipped with tilt steering.

It's the second one I've seen like this is why I ask, appreciate for the clarification.

Thanks

I think I've talked to the owner of this car a few years ago, can't quite remember if this is the same car, but he bought it new and drove the wheels off it year round for the first 5 yrs or so.

that's interesting to know.. and I guess it would make sense.... because , is there not the physical linkage in place back from the tranny , more so for the locking ignition?  then the indicator in the dash would be functional too..

neat !

Yes, there is the linkage from the tranny to the column for the locking ignition.  Once out of park, you can actually shift by turning the column collar where the shifter arm normally is.

Maybe I can't zoom in clearly but are the gills missing on the 1/4 panel? It looks that way to me.

Looks like it had the replacement quarters that I put on my 69 Grande, back in the 80s

Not bad tin but not all the body lines are there.

I'd drive it !
