Love it.

In the 80's I fueled up the identical car at the Esso/GM dealership I was working at. Long story short, it had Alberta plates, had just come in to Canada and when I mentioned to the driver I had seen the identical car in Hemmings (for sale in Florida I believe it was) on my lunch break only about an hour earlier, the conversation came to an abrupt halt and he was out of there ASAP. I suspect he flew down with his Alberta plates and drove it home through the border without claiming it as imported...

I've watched for a red on red 67 SS 427 4 speed for sale in Canada ever since, but have never seen it again. I doubt this is the car, but if anyone knows of the twin, possibly in Western Canada.

Wonder if the red knobs on the window cranks is correct? Shouldn't they be black, or that translucent clear tone?

Very nice color combo. Guage set reminds me a bit of the 70 Chevelle SS.

Hi Marty! As far as I know, the whole full size chevrolet line had clear window crank knobs no matter what the interior color was.Can anyone else verify this???

"from the internet"  2004

MY '67 Impala SS has red interior and red knobs, my '67 parts car is a 4 dr Impala with blue interior and it has blue knobs. I bought both cars from the original owner or family there of.

There was one here in Edmonton around the same time frame, I must have driven past it 50 times just admiring it as it was so nice. I never talked to the owner as it was parked on the street by an industrial complex. I see this one has manual brakes, I wonder if discs were part of the SS427 package?? Personally I  prefer manual brakes but it seems strange to see them on this car.

Thanks

Randy
