body is good, previously repaired in the lower rear quarters, floor and unibody look great - I seen pictures of a red floor with the carpet out, trunk is nice, paint is good (about 6-7 years old) engine has been done in the last ten years - low/mid twenties won't do it though - I'm told the air cleaner sells for $1500-$2000 so maybe someone could buy it and sell what they don't have to have to arrive where they would like to be

I know of a 66 Chevy II 327 5-speed, gold with gold interior probably around 20

Thanks fo the info Ken  I will pass  it on.

That is sharp looking and should be a real performer since they are such light cars. A 12-bolt for that car is a rare find.

In the end Chevy only produced 6 actual L-79 Chevy IIs for 1967. Contrary to popular belief they were late-build cars with a few engine detail changes that were coming for 1968, like the cast iron intake & Quadrajet (unlike other 1967 L-79 applications). They also used the common open element air cleaner rather than the trademark opposed dual snorkel 1966 style (probably due to the new dual master cylinder & possibility of power disk brakes).

Attached is a picture from the 1967 new car intro. Note the presence of a 327, plus those skinny 14x5 Rally Wheels (factory disk brake car). Factory tires were never wider than 6.95-14 (P175/75-14 in today's vernacular) so redline tires were never an option (they look great though).

A guy down my street sold his Marina Blue 66 Nova SS with a built 383 SBC for $25,000 this spring to a buyer in Alberta. I think someone posted a his Kijiji ad at this site last year. His car was quite solid.

He had sold it to his brother in the Netherlands for 20 Gs last fall but the brother bought a house in the meantime and couldn't swing it comfortably.
