CASTING CALL FOR VEHICLES 

We are shooting a feature film in the Toronto and Hamilton areas and are looking for vehicles. It is a movie starring several A-List celebrities including Robert De Niro based on a true mob story in 1977 Chicago. 
We are looking for all types of vehicles in all types of conditions ranging in years from 1965 to 1977. Our needs include cars, trucks, vans, pickups and motorcycles. 
Our shooting dates are from October 22 to December 22. 
We are looking to meet you and your vehicle at our studio in Toronto at 
629 Eastern Ave. M4M 1E4 

Saturday September 20, 2014 between 09:00am and 2:00pm 
and 
Monday September 22, 2014 between 10:00am and 2:00pm 
and 
Saturday and Sunday September 27 & 28, 2014 between 09:00am and 2:00pm 

Compensation (top dollar paid) based on condition and usage of vehicle in film.

Cool I'd love the chance for the 67 to be in a movie. Still have the WW's and original caps, slap them on and it's 67 all again!

Alas, the car will be put away at the end of October. hmm

Brother has a 66 Caprice wagon with 427 done to the hilt,body I wish was on a women so smooth,but $55000.00 I dought it would be in the movies?
Looks way to good for a gangster film or hes in.lol

I'd hope they don't pick a bunch of cream puffs. I don't think many cars looked very sexy in 1970s Chicago!

They must be joking. Shooting a movie in Ontario from the end of October until Christmas and they are hoping for streets of old cars, they must not watch the weather channel. Would be fun during the right time of the year in Canada.

Last time my car was in a commercial I got paid $1,000, that was $500 per day. That was back in 2008 for Spike TV.

Question???? Does your [ classic car insurance] cover the car if your using it for this, & getting PAID!!!!! & possibly someone else driving it???? I have my doubts that they would, & would want it in writing from movie contract that 'they" will insure it. Just a thought, pete

Of course you need to notify the insurer of this and get a rider if they require. In my case it was no problem and no cost.

OK that makes sense. Only reason I thought of this was a couple of yrs. ago a friend was approached to do this & his Ins. Co. said it was "on Him" if anything happened to his car, they wouldn't insure it, due to being a 'commercial" use of vehicle!!
