Browsing through kijiji for parts and came across this.  409 with tons of work done to it if anyone is interested.

Our member 57Poncho bought a 348 from this same seller a few years back. However, he sold it without ever running it so no idea as to the quality of the work, but assuming it was all good, the deal he got at that time seemed very fair.

It seems better than most posts on there with just 'Engine rebuilt' and no accompanying info... most 'rebuilt' things I have bought off kijiji have been a rattle can rebuild and no actual work done... This one seems like the work was already done. Does this guy just find engines and rebuild them? Weird that he would take partial trades for a 409 on a complete 409....

Yes, from what I've seen in his numerous ads, he deals in 348-409's and Mark IV engines.

I don't want to speculate or defame the seller, but I wonder if it could possibly be Aubrey Bruneau back after doing his 30-month sentence? He is a specialist on the 348-409 engines.

Unfortunately Aubrey was behind on his mortgage and was desperate so he got involved in in a massive ephedrine smuggling ring. I sympathize with the guy.
