With only 13k it should still have original tires, air cleaner element, battery, wiper blades, plug wires, etc. And of course paint. If the odo is true its a deal, but I always have a hard time believing them. Especially the 5 digit only ones.

Read about a 73 Cougar that ONLY had 30,000 miles supposedly, but had new paint, interior, vinyl top, rebuilt engine. Owner went on to say it had never been winter driven, blah, blah, blah.
I said it must of had the hardest 30k miles ever put on a car if it needed that much restoration.
He kinda glazed over after that and changed the subject.

Very nice and i bet this car rides like a cloud. Anyone know what motor this vehicle would have in it.

Agreed, I think that was the only choice in those.

My old Iranian neighbour had one, same year, dark blue. Had it since new. I used to give advice and tinker with it from time to time, do small things to help him keep it running over the years. It rode on a cloud. Man, he was so proud of it, always made sure I saw it with a honk and a wave as he went by (like I'd miss it, lol!)  It finally succumbed to the tin worm. He actually cried when it went in 2012.

But it was one hell of a nice ride for the years he had it. And now he drives a 2012 Chrysler 200. Hates it.

I'd have no problem having this nice example, but not at 7.

Agreed. $4500 would be the max and I'd still be too stingy to pay it. $3 maybe?

I don't know guys, if that thing is pretty much showroom and can be proven to be original mileage, I would think he should be able to pull close to $5K out of it.

And as some have stated, those were just excellent excellent cars. The 307's were pretty much bulletproof, great on fuel, reliable.

Quick side note. My brother ran a small auto wrecking for over 30 years. In the 90's, he was buying up a lot of this type of car, Le Sabre, Delta, Parisienne etc. I remember at one point he said he had 8 of those 307's in the yard still in cars, most of them decently low mileage. He couldn't give a 307 away, no demand for them because they never blew up. The only time he could sell one was to a customer replacing a blown up Olds diesel in a GM pickup.

Haha,so true Carl! I bought a 81 Silverado Diesel that had been converted over to the gas Olds. Ran great, never a problem again after the oil burner was removed.

Boy life is pretty weird these days when you have to pay more for a quad than for a car you could ride in coast to coast in sumptuous comfort.

I 've had a couple of these.Got unbelievable mileage on the Highway.Had one 307 jump the timing gear after shutting it down.Have a 307 crate engine waiting for my next one.I Love that Colour! I would have to see a couple of wear points on this one to decide.Be a new $40,000 car now for Cheap.Oil it up and drive another 30 years.

Nice car and very encouraging words about buying any vehicle with an Olds 307.

I really like the two door version of these things, although even back in the day they were few and far between.
