I bought new repro. door handles but can't figure out how to get the my old lock cylinders out for the swap over. There is a keeper holding the thang in- but what's the trick??
(I have the handle off the door- so I already know that trick!)
OK, I solved the riddle! There is a circular snap-ring that you remove with a small flat screwdriver and then the cylinder slides out along with the spring and spring cup. Easy peasy! Don't forget the tiny O-ring seal when you re-install.
