69 & 70 in Edmonton pick a part.

I went in to get a power window motor for the van, and did a walk through to see what else was there, and found these two. They haven't been there long and not much has been taken either. Both 350 2 bbl cars, one Canadian, one US.

Trunk lid damaged when it was opened.

How are the Strato Chief emblems on the '69? I wouldn't mind a nice set. That rear bumper looks good too!

I think someone posted a week or so ago that there was a 69 in Edmonton Pick n Pull.   If they were in Calgary I'd be on them like white on rice, but don't need the expense of driving up to Edmonton.

Did you have any interior pictures of the 69.

I'm pretty sure the first pic is of the 70.

Didn't see any Strato Chief emblems. I thought I had taken an interior photo, but I guess not. Dashpad was cracked. No special options.

I may go back tomorrow to have a better look'

The first picture is an interior shot of an 70 Catalina.  It has the woodgrain trim around the speedo cluster, has the base Catalina steering wheel (same as Canadian Laurentian), and also has the Catalina door panels (same as a Canadian Laurentian)

Oh Clint, gas is cheap now. Consider it some money spent on good entertainment. Cheaper than most professional sports. Might even make a buck.

The Strato Chief emblems appear to be still on the '69- On the front fenders behind the wheel openings. Also, the engine call outs are worth a few bucks

While I was walking up to it, a guy pried the emblem off the nose. There is one 350 emblem, and I'll go back and see what else is good. Just kind of interesting that there's this pair there, and only a few cars apart too!

I'm looking for parchment door panels ... If you do go back and the panels are parchment and useable ..... I'll take them and cover you for your time and efforts .

Thanks

That rear valance on the 69 still looks pretty good. Should be saving that part at least.

If I can get back there I'll try to get what I can. Prices have jumped though. Got dinged $40.00 for a power window motor!

Uggh, hate seeing a '65-'70 waiting on death row. After years of faithful service and surviving all this time, this is the thanks they get :(

Better than being crushed right away ... at least some of the parts will live on.

Luckily I hardly every see a '58-'64 in at pull a part though see a '65-'70 every now and then. I just saved this clean '72 Dodge Polara sedan that was driven in by the owner. I bailed it out thank goodness, will throw it on the back burner for a while, would make a great cop car replica with a 440 biggrin
