I've been asked many times if I prefer Chevrolet over Pontiacs seeming my collection are all Chevy's. Honestly I like Pontiacs just as much, especially the Canadian Pontiacs, one huge reason is the compatibility with Chevrolet full size chassis and engines (like Chevy motors more than Pontiacs) Here is my poll for preference of what I would choose over another in a certain year:
1960: Chevy (Bel air 2-door post 348 tri power) 1961:Chevy (Impala 2-door post 348 tri power) 1962:Pontiac (Custom Sport 327) 1963:Chevy (Impala SS 409 340 HP) 1964: Pontiac (Custom Sport 409 340 HP) 1965:Chevy (Impala SS 327) 1966: Pontiac (2+2 327) 1967: Chevy (Impala SS 427) 1968: Pontiac (Parisienne 427 ) 1969: Chevy (Impala SS 427) 1970: Chevy (Impala by a narrow margin over a '70 2+2)
What about you guys?

......when I first got my 63 Parisienne I thought it was a "CS" with it's console and buckets...research showed 1964 was the first year for CS (Custom Sport).

.......before 64 they were just loaded Ponchos.
Yep, '64 - '66 for Custom Sports.
I'm sure the '66 guys will correct this choice also: 1966: Pontiac (2+2 327)
