I swear, it wasn't me!

She'll get cleaned up a bit to make her safer to drive. I have the axle bearing/seals to replace and redo the rear brakes..

Now, I'm not to fond of the Armstrong steering and non-power brakes. I did get a booster with a new master and the power ram setup as extra parts.

I also got a couple rear doors off a 4 door that I'll prob have no use for...

Welcome from Canada's east coast. I wonder what percentage of wagons of this era had posi (as a towing aid).

Thanks for the welcome!

I've introduced the car, but forgot myself !

I'm in Surrey, BC.

I'm a creative fabricator and all-round carguy.
My dad had bought a brand new '65 Parisienne 2+2 coupe.
He put it up for sale in the early 70's when I was 3. Apparently, I told him I was buying it...I couldn't come up with the cash ;) I've been looking for one ever since I could drive.

43 years later, I found my version of his car...Can't wait to drive it regularly.

Looks pretty CLEAN....from a Wet Coast Fe02 perspective.....

Be carefull with those corvette wheels....they MAY slow it down ....and make it look cheap.....biggrin...(corvettes are for FAT old bald guys......)

Some vintage 14" Americans would REALLY smarten it up.......JMO.

Hello Gerald, a hardy welcome aboard from Milton, Ontario. Sweet and rare Poncho you got there. What is that odd looking paint on the front fenders ? Could it be kids with crayons? Gerald, you have to show the Pontiac brotherhood more pictures of that sweet long roof beauty. Continued good luck with your 64 wagon. Cheers. George.

Well, I'm super-happy I found this group and all the knowledge within. I'll need some input for sure.

As you can see from the pics, the previous owner cut the coils for the lowerider look.  The Rally rims I have will be skinned in 50 series rubber, which I found online for $81 a tire.

There's no way the 275/60R15 rear tires will fit in it's current state.

Someday, there will be paint, but I intend to keep it a rolling resto so for now the paint stays as is.

As requested, here are more pics

Looks like a really SOLID contender.....

Keep it running and driving....that is the best plan....

Think I can just make out a P/S pump on the front of the engine?

I'll bet it would be cantankerous to drive without....

Is it from the prairies?

There's no power steering yet, nor power brakes. I did get a brand new booster and master and also a, hopefully, saveable power ram. They came in a box with the car, including other bits. No pump as of yet.

You should be able to get a Cardone reman pump out of Lordco....Just order one from a 64 chev.....

I have a "chinese blueprint" here if you need to compare....

Nice acquisition! Even the larger corvette style master cylinder would be an easy safety upgrade. Those old single cylinder setups terrify me on such a substantial car.

Yes, the tiny master is a little disconcerting. There will be some major brake upgrades but for now a new power booster/master will do. When I changed the wheels I discovered the brakes are all brand new within. Might as well use them for while ;)
