Hi guys,

I'd like to buy the jack and spare tire cover off Jerel ...but need your help confirming '66 & '67 are the same?

Thanks in advance smile

The saddle or cradle piece is specific to each year.

would a 66 not jack up a 67  or vice versa ?    aren't they carried in the trunk "under" the spare ?

It would likely do the job, but looking to be as '67 "authentic" as possible. wink

$_3-1.JPGIMAG1063.jpgIf I'm not mistaken '64-67 are the same. The 65 Beaumont one looks exact as the. one I had in my '67 chevelle wagon. The 65 Beaumont one has chevelle Chevy ll on the cradle, no reason 66-67 would be different

I knew that...    I was teasing...

If anyone, is checking out "my" Jack saddle, for correctness, they better have a lot of cash in their pocket, and be buyinbg the car....

whoops   I forgot, the fellow who sold it to me, forgot to put jack and spare in the trunk, when he shipped the car

I forget his name   but Johnnee D knows him

Sounds like a con man to me.

All the good jacks are out west.

I'll try to check the Beaumont parts book out later and see if it can shed any light on this.

I "heard" that all 66-67 Beaumonts used GTO jacks because they were lighter and faster......wink

Here is the difference,  the 67 one has more of a bump on the top

and as stated  the 1966 one says "1966 chevelle",  the 1967 one says "1967 chevelle",  yes, the ones from canada in a beaumont trunk, still say chevelle.
