Originally Black with a red interior.

Boy, a lot has been done to this car! Nice car.

Would be a rare car in original form.

Very nice!! Not to familiar with that air filter set-up.... does it allow for taller intakes to fit under hood and/or better air flow??

It's not mine . But Im not sure I like the look of it . I have a 3" k&n with a 2" drop & an edelbrock air gap & a 1 1/2 " carb spacer cut down to 1 1/4" on my 69 big block

Nib Johnston Motors, Courtenay, my hometown. Dave Johnston, the owners son sold me my first new truck. Nib Johnston had a bit of an in with GM, always got the new hot iron, including GTO's. This would have been an awesome ride new, I'm sure it didn't lead an easy life! Looking good though. Wasn't this one for sale a few years ago with a small block?

Interesting the GM documents say 3387 of the same model when mine from 2001 say 3318, wonder why or when the number changed?

So it's a documented 396 car but had a small block? Sure would be nice to find the original engine for such a rare car!

I met the owner at the Lake Country car show in Winfield last summer. He said he was considering restoring the interior back to the way it once was in 66.

It has a laser straight black paint job.

A red Beaumont interior would look incredible with the black exterior, I'm not a fan of the late model seats and Chevelle door panels.

Carl, maybe have a look in your stash...it could be lurking under a tarp in a dark corner smile
