The seller texted me some other pictures of the car. Once again not in hi-resolution so hard to get a good close-up look at the car. He indicated that he thought it originally had a 327 engine.

That's all I know!

Just my

Its a sharpe looking car that's for sure although it is indeed a very confusing advertisement. That engine picture is a Chevrolet small block so if it truly is 400 CID then its a Chevy. I am not sure what is meant by "a sister 400ci small block Poniac crate moter" If someone is conversing with owner then perhaps this can be clarified.

if it were mine...

I would dress the 400 as a 327, and add some nice wheels, and adjust the rear bumper and send the antenna to Johnnee D

The photos show a car, I would be pleased to buy for 12-15 grand....

lots of potential

Bingo ... maybe less, depending on interior.

NO interior pics ... red flag. noA guy selling a car for that price with no interior pictures is just wrong ... what does a car owner look at when he drives a car. The interior!

I don't like to place a value on someone else car but if the body is as good as it looks and not built from aftermarket china panels then it has to be worth more than 15 grand

Here are some interior shots that I received. Not great pictures but give some idea what the interior looks like.

This car looks so similar to my car back when I bought it. Had the exact same Edelbrock bling, but mine had a diamond tuft interior instead of velour.

I was naļve as per how much it would cost to bring back to factory correct era appearance. Knowing what I do now... it might have been a deal breaker.

not to be pissy.. but the pic of the loose engine in the back of the truck is a chevy... just saying wink   unless there is a Pontiac engine out there that does not use a dip case bell housing..

besides the point here.. as we are loving the car for sale !biggrin

Thanks     The interior is useable, if the car was bought right     Not many of these cars for sale    maybe 18-20 is the market for them    I'd still max my offer at 15   lol

Price reduced to $15,000. Another $5K & it starts to make sense.
