65 Beaumont Dash Speaker Connections.

Were they just terminal connectors on the dash speaker from radio?

I think I might need a new speaker?

Know where to get a new one? Or where to get it rebuilt in lower mainland?

Hi Lance, take your speaker to Speaker City in north van, they are worlds best at speakers, they travel the planet rebuilding high end speakers from concert halls, recording studios etc, they build speakers, restore speakers, anything speaker. Very high end stuff, I've talked to them before about restoring mine, I just haven't sent it in yet, they are car guys, you'll feel out of place going there with old car dash speaker, they want to build your speaker, take it there. For speaker connection wire call the tin man Dave will set ya up. Cheers

Maybe Beaumontguru can answer this one, if lances Beaumont came with a radio originally isn't that speaker connector attached to power power supply harness? My cars came radio delete, not even studs for a speaker in dash, so I can't look for you.

Hi Big Mac!

Speaker city here I come! lol

Dangerous I might walk out of there with a PA, or Marshall cab with some 4x10 Celestin speakers! Danger alert maybe I should just order them from Blaine Minnesota. ha ha

I re wired the clip that you sent with the radio and put long leads on it. I can solder the connections to the speaker, or use terminals.

If you could look for me on yours that would be Great!

I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

I will ask Rick if he has any of those parts from what I saw it was mostly big block and small block Chevy parts.

Is it possible that the end of the speaker plug is the ground that attaches to the ground bolt on the e brake housing?

Black wire to one side of speaker, green wire to the other,  does not matter too much which is + and - on the speaker, just gives better sound one way than the other.

That black plug fits the back of an original radio.  the 3rd missing connection is the power into the back of the radio.  Run a red power wire from your "radio" connection on the fuse panel to the harness connector in your picture once it is plugged into the radio.

there is no radio grounds going to the ground connection on the dash/pedal brace.
