1970 was the only year the Executive was offered in Canada. It was a step up from a Catalina and not as luxurious as a Bonneville although it did share the Bonneville longer wheelbase. Drivetrain was US Pontiac with a 400 standard. It was available in a two door hardtop, 4 door sedan and 4 door hardtop as well as a wagon which featured wood grain trim. In 1971 Pontiac placed the Grand Ville ahead of the Bonneville and the Executive was dropped after only 4 model years.

Interesting, I never knew it was above the Cat in 70. In 66, a Star Chief Executive was a fancy name for their version of a Strato Chief. I had always thought the Executive was the bare bones model. Learned something new AGAIN today!
